New freight terminal at Ezeiza

With the objective of optimizing air freight, improving operational efficiency and promoting sustainable processes incorporating technology, a new Freight Terminal meeting every international standard has been inaugurated at Ezeiza,Airport.

This project involved civil engineering works, boosting the power grid, air-conditioning and computer-controlled installations which together reduce the cost of preparing the merchandíse by 30 %, doubling the volume of storage capacity for products and reducing the waiting times for trucks to enter and deliver their loads. From the new TCA (Terminal de Cargas Argentina) freight terminal fresh produce such as meat, fruit ranging from cranberries to strawberries, fish and flowers among other ítems can be exported.

On October 3 Transport Minister Guillermo Dietrich commented via Twitter: “I have inspected the improvements at Ezeiza freight terminal. Thanks to the new infrastructure and refrigerators we have expanded our export capacity and reduced the times for processing freight. That’s the Aviation Revolution (#RevoluciónDeLosAviones), boosting this country’s trade (pic.twitter.com/ZAiiTH3x48).
