Back in July 2008, Aeropuerto de Bahí­a Blanca S.A. engaged in the administration of civil terminal Bahí­a Blanca Municipal Airport "Comandante Espora" with the intention to optimize its operating capacity and reach international service standards.

The company renewed and expanded the terminal to offer passengers enhanced levels of comfort and to raise the airport to level C of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). During the year 2019, 355 thousand passengers used the Bahía Blanca Airport.
