In 2008, we acquired the consortium "Consorcio de Aeropuertos Internacionales S.A.", who held the concession of the Punta del Este Airport since 1993.

The Punta del Este airport is the second airport in Uruguay in terms of passenger traffic and is the gateway to the most important international touristic destination in the region. The modern terminal building of Punta del Este was designed by the renowned Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. Its 13,000 sqm, distributed in three levels, result from a perfect combination of avant-garde architecture and state-of-the-art technology in terms of passenger services. During the year 2019, 189 thousand passengers used the Punta del Este Airport.
